Thank you.
This data was analysed in January and February and we are now pleased to provide you with the results. Alongside the results, we have also included comments to answer any queries etc which were raised. Please read and consider these carefully.
As a school, we were absolutely delighted with the results of the survey and the high regard which you have for our school.
Moving forward, we will be using this data, and many other data sources, to help steer our school for the next 3 years.
May I, on behalf of the whole school community, thank you for your contribution.
Mr A Frizzell
P2H have been extremely busy this week. We discussed our new topic-Plants and Growth and used a KWL grid to write down everything we knew about this topic. We then thought of questions we could explore to help us find out more.
in Literacy, we read Jack and the Beanstalk and learnt that an adjective describes a noun. We thought of lots of adjectives to describe the giant in the story and played a game in pairs, matching the correct adjective to the correct noun. We wrote about our favourite part of the story.
As it was Science week, we completed a lesson on See and Eat sprouting Vegetables. We discovered the ‘field to fork’ journey of a carrot and Mrs Heare brought in carrots for us to look at closely. We even got a chance to complete an observational drawing of them.
Mrs Lee brought some of us outside to plant violas!
Carlos from Hip n Happy visited our class to help us to always remember to make good choices. He told us to stop, take 2 deep breaths and make the right choice!
We also got the bee-bots out and used our coding skills to program.
In Numeracy, we counted 2p’s and were able to use them to make amounts.
To end the week we had a party to celebrate Bethany’s birthday and winning the Shoe Box Prize for Foundation stage last week on World Book Day.
