We were invited to a lovely Easter assembly led by Canon Adair and our school choir. Canon Adair reminded us of the important message of Easter and the choir sang 3 pieces for us. They sounded super! 🎶🎵😊

The children worked in small groups to design and create a three wheeled wooden vehicle, as part of Technology. Well done boys and girls!

We had great fun this afternoon in our technology lesson. We made parachutes from Toilet tubes and paper napkins as part of our WW2 topic, then tested them. As you can see from the photos and video clips, the children thoroughly enjoyed their lesson.

The WAU topic for P5 this half term was Our World. During the last WAU lesson the boys and girls got the opportunity to play games and put together jigsaws all linked to the topic Our World.

We had great fun today using the app, Chatterpix as part of our animation work in ICT!
We did a lot of Art and Literacy around the story of Little Red Riding Hood and used our creations when using the app. 😊

Our ICT topic this half term has been animation. We began by learning about the history of animation, and for this we created our very own thaumatrope - one of the first examples of animation. We then moved on to using a computer programme to create an animation, before finishing with a play-doh animation this week!
