There has been a lot of excitement in Nursery this month. We have patiently counted down each day waiting for the arrival of our little chicks. So far, 5 chicks have hatched. The children have named them; Fluffy, Strawberry, Isabelle, Cutie and Rainbow. We have really enjoyed holding and stroking them. We invited our parents to come in and have a wee look at our chicks.

Back in December, we surveyed our parents and guardians on all things 'Hart!'  We asked parents questions regarding their child; their experiences when visiting our school; and what they see the main strengths and areas for development to be in our school.
This data was analysed in January and February and we are now pleased to provide you with the results.  Alongside the results, we have also included comments to answer any queries etc which were raised.  Please read and consider these carefully.
As a school, we were absolutely delighted with the results of the survey and the high regard which you have for our school.
Moving forward, we will be using this data, and many other data sources, to help steer our school for the next 3 years.
May I, on behalf of the whole school community, thank you for your contribution.

Mr A Frizzell

We had a lovely morning with Farmer Claire from Blackberry Farm. She brought along lots of her farm animals, including chicks, a hen, a goat called Fudge, an alpaca, three little lambs and two rabbits. We loved hearing her farm stories, joining in with songs and getting to hold and stroke all the animals.

This month we focused on 'People Who Help Us'. We were delighted to welcome lots of exciting visitors to Nursery to tell us about their job. We had the police, a nurse, firefighters and the optician in. We have been making beautiful art work for Valentine's day. Outdoors, we have been busy exploring the garden- digging in the sand, mark making in the teepee and creating some tasty food and making potions in our mud station.
