We grew some cress as part of our Growth topic and had a taste today!

The result was mixed! Some decided not to try, some tried and didn’t like it, some tried and thought it was lovely and some tried and thought it tasted of nothing!

Last week we wrote letters to some very special ladies. We then addressed our envelopes and walked to the local post box to send them on their way. This was a lovely way of extending our letter writing and we really hope the recipients enjoy reading our letters.

A super busy and exciting morning in P5D today as we had Orlagh in class working with the children on the ‘Our City’ project. Orlagh discussed with the children the differences between a village, town and city. They got to see how a city operates, jobs that are needed and businesses that are open.

Orla from Enterprise NI visited P5P today. She gave a superb presentation on what makes a community, financial planning and ideas for the children for opening their own businesses in the future. This was fantastic with all children enjoying taking part in the activities provided. Thank you, Orla!
