90 years ago, in October 1935, Hart Memorial Primary School first opened its doors to pupils in Portadown, following an amalgamation of other local schools. Since then, the Hart has grown significantly and seen many changes in our town. For many of you, the Hart was the school you went to, your child goes to, or your parent/grandparent/great grandparent went to. Lots of you have memories and stories about our school; and so many of you speak so highly about our school and your experiences here.
This year, we will be having several events and celebrations to mark this huge milestone.
The first of these events will be a Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving in St Columba's Church of Ireland on Sunday 19th October at 6pm.
Please share this post and let past pupils, family and staff know!
It would be great to see the church packed for this celebration.
