What a fabulous visit we had with Clare from BlackBerry Farm. We really enjoyed listening to her stories, holding, brushing and petting the animals.

W5 came in today to show us lots of exciting experiments. We had lots of fun!!
P4 enjoyed a sponsored high intensity sport session in the hall today, followed by a special assembly with our Olympic athlete visitor David Thompson.
The pupils of P7L took part in the 'Building a bridge to France' project from W5. We spent several weeks learning a little bit of French and how to build a bridge throughout multiple workshops.
On the 8th of March it was finally time to go and show off our skills in W5. Very proudly and carefully, we loaded our class-made bridge onto the bus and away we went to Belfast. Unfortunately, we didn't win but I am convinced we had the coolest and sturdiest bridge.
Well done to my P7L for all their efforts and enthusiasm.

This morning, Commonwealth Swimmer, David Thompson, completed a fitness workout with all children. This was completed with a view to raising money to purchase new Sports equipment for the School.
We enjoyed our fitness session today. We were athletes for the day & it was fun. Thanks for your sponsorship. Well done everyone. 👏🏼👍🏻😊
The Hart welcomed athlete David Thompson, who previously represented Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth games for swimming. Each class participated in a sponsored fitness session with David, before listening to an inspirational talk by him in an assembly. The children all had a fantastic day!

Olympic Athlete, David Thompson, visited our school today. The children really enjoyed completing a High Intensity Training session with David first thing this morning to waken them up!! We then had an inspiring assembly were David told us about the hard work he had to put in and the challenges he overcame to qualify for the Olympic Games. He told the children that to be successful in anything in life, you must work hard and stick at it!
