Many congratulations to our GTBG raffle winner — Paulina, teacher’s special certificates — Matas and Courtney, Healthy Kidz Star of the week — Evie and all those who were awarded Mathletics Certificates.
We had a visit from two officers of the PSNI last week who told us all about Stranger Danger and Firework Safety. They also mentioned how electric scooters are illegal for those under 16!!!
Today the P7s were treated to an amazing show of animals that live in the Amazon Jungle. The children had the chance to hold and pet lizards, a chameleon, a python, a giant millipede and a tortoise. We also got to see a tarantula and a scorpion up close - we didn't get to touch these, although we're not sure how many takers we would have had for that even if we had been allowed to!! We have had a wonderful start to our Nursery year, settling in, making friends and having lots of fun learning indoors and outdoors! Enjoy looking through all our photos to see what we have been up to.

We had Ethan and Conor from the Community Police to discuss Stranger Danger, safety with fireworks, trick-or-treating and road safety while cycling.
Two Community Policemen gave the children a Safety talk on a number of very important subjects. These included Stranger Danger and using Fireworks safely. The children listened intently and asked lots of questions.
We love our Healthy Kidz sessions with Coach Steve, especially in the afternoon sunshine 😊🌞. We worked on developing our agility, speed, balance and hand/eye co-ordination in our sessions this week. Lots of smiles!
