Pupils created the following posters based on the Titanic. Great job, P7 😀
P7 have been learning about the Titanic, and recently investigated the varying types of water pressure. When the Titanic hit the iceberg, it caused a tear in the iron frame that allowed up to 7 tons of water in a second. As the tear was at the deepest part of the ship, it was susceptible to the heaviest water pressure, and because a huge amount of water flooded the ship is the reason it sank. We experimented with pressure in a water container with the water at the deepest part causing the greatest pressure. As you can see from the photos, the children really enjoyed it.
P4A had great fun learning some yoga, massage and breathing techniques during our nurturing session.
