James from the Amma Centre gave P5P an extremely interesting tutorial on Minecraft Education. The boys and girls were able to follow each step via iPad and were praised for their prior knowledge and ability using Minecraft Education during the presentation.

We had a great last day together!!! We had a picnic and went on the adventure trail🤩 ❤️
Primary 3 enjoyed last earning about different foods from 2000 years ago and how bread was a special part of the diet. They discovered all about food in Ireland, making dough and decorating a Celtic bracelet.
What a lovely time it is when we can travel around and learn outside out school building again!!!

P5DK are learning about farming during their WAU lessons this term. They have enjoyed drawing and painting tractors in art this week and last week.
Both P7 classes have been and will be involved in a number of workshops to help with the transition from Primary School to Secondary School. Last week we had Laura, from the organisation Connecting Minds with staff and Year 8 pupils from Clounagh Junior High School exploring the importance and benefits of mindfulness and positive thinking.
