P4S enjoyed a visit fromJack this morning. He came into our classroom to deliver the PIPS Home Support Gimmee5 program to the children. This is a very child friendly wellbeing program based on 5 elements: connect with others, be active, take notice of your surroundings, keep learning and give.

Our class had lots of fun in Coach Steve’s PE lesson today practising their gymnastics skills.
Jack from PIPS Hope and Support delivered an excellent workshop to the P7s today on how they can improve their own well-being and mental health. We looked at the importance of staying connected to others, being active, taking notice of things around us, learning new things and giving to others.
P7T enjoyed a wellbeing session with Jack Scappaticci from PIPS in Portadown. They revised different ways to be more resilient to protect our mental health. Great session!
P6M enjoyed celebrating World Book Day, on Thursday. We were greeted with many new characters in our class, as the kids dressed up as their favourite book characters and then made a book review on their favourite books.
