Congratulations to our P1 children who recently received their Celebration Certificates for their hard work this month. Well done also to our Good To Be Green Raffle Prize Winner who was delighted with his prize.
We made pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. The children had great fun measuring out and mixing the ingredients, including free range eggs from Lenny’s girls at Lisnabunny. They then enjoyed eating their delicious pancakes.
On Tuesday P4S pupils took part in the Portadown Speech Festival. The girls performed their poem, Blame, and we’re delighted to be awarded first prize, two second prizes and two fourths. The boys’ poem was The Witches and they came first and second. In addition Sophie was awarded most promising girl of 2022. The whole class performed their choral piece, Pirate Pete, for the adjudicator. They excelled themselves and were awarded a cup for their efforts.
What a fabulous month we have had in Nursery. We have had great fun learning all about People Who Help Us.
We really enjoyed making pancakes in Nursery. We ate them for snack with lots of lovely toppings. They were yummy 😋
