P6 children participated in the Young Enterprise, Our World, workshop this week. The boys and girls were introduced to the importance of global trade. The programme also aimed to help children begin to recognise the important part that education can play in determining life choices during school and beyond in the ‘World of Work.’
The children had a great morning with their partner class from Presentation Primary School on Wednesday at Portadown People’s Park. They participated in lots of fun games with Healthy Kidz coaches.
Well done to Mrs Woods and the Eco Team for their work on securing our Green Flag. ON Tuesday 3rd June, Mr Frizzell, Mrs Woods and 3 members of the Eco Team were at a Reception and lunch at Craigavon Civic Centre to gain the award. Keep an eye out for the flag flying high!
Members of Portadown Baptist Church visited school to take the children on ‘The Amazing Journey’ of Jesus today. The boys and girls loved listening to the stories of the Bible, dressing up in costume and sampling different foods eaten during the time of Jesus.
The children celebrated VE Day 80th Anniversary by having a special Key Stage Assembly, completing Art activities and dressing in red, white and blue clothes. Well done for your effort P6M!
