The children have been learning about floating and sinking in their WAU topic and their technology task was to make a boat that floats. With the help of parents and grandparents the children made such fabulous boats, as you will see. Today the children talked about and described the materials they used to make their boat with and explained how they attached each part of their boat. We all had to predict by giving the thumbs up sign if we thought the boat would float or the thumbs down if we thought it would sink. I hope you enjoy looking at the children's excited faces as they place their boats in our water tray.
