In our World Around Us topic we are learning All about Ourselves. We have been using mirrors to look closely at our faces, choosing paints to match our skin and eye colour and sticking shredded paper to match our hair colour. We hope you enjoy looking at our great work.

P7MM took part in a very informative workshop led by Eleanor from REIM Training Solutions on Internet Safety. The theme of the workshop this year was our Digital Footprint and how we can ensure that we make this as positive as possible.
We have been very busy in our first month of Nursery, making new friends, exploring new things and most importantly, having lots of fun!
We have had good fun this month as we settled into our Nursery environment, new routines and new friends! Have a look at what we have been getting up to.
Everyone totally engrossed in sketching a beautiful butterfly for our World Around Us theme- Minibeasts! The very artistic children created wonderful masterpieces.
P3T explored using different containers and various amounts of water to explore language of more, less, least amount, most amount. They were also very clever when arranging containers in order of capacity size.

P5DK had 2 Internet Safety workshops this week. They were learning about strangers online, gaming and when it is best to switch off their devices. They have been given a few challenges:
1. Turn off all screens at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
2. Look at all accounts that they might have e.g. TikToc, YouTube etc and check for personal information visible to others. They could change their name to a funny name or their profile picture to a cartoon using bitmoji.
3. Find out how to block an inappropriate person on all apps/games etc.
They were all so given an online safety pledge which they took home and have displayed it somewhere central for them to see.
