The children have been learning to recognise numbers, write and use dough to make numbers 1-5. They have also been matching number digits to numicon shapes, ordering numbers and making sets.

We love our Healthy Kidz sessions with Steve. We are improving our fitness,speed,strength and stamina.
P5DK carried out an investigation to work out which how best to preserve an apple from decaying. They used salt, sugar and vinegar in three separate bags with apples and left then for 3 weeks in the same cupboard. Here are some photographs to see the children setting up the experiment and looking at the results.
P7T had a lovely Friday morning numeracy lesson creating a very effective line chart. Super work all round.
Primary 7 were joined by the IFA’s Chris Wright for a very relevant and important workshop called ‘Give Racism the Red Card’. Children learned about the causes and consequences of Racism and to be empowered about Racism. Today gives us the opportunity to help the children know that Racism is wrong, is hurtful and is completely unneeded. At the Hart Memorial, we aim to prepare pupils to be part of a multi-cultural world and today’s workshop is another helpful way towards that. Many thanks to Chris for an excellent workshop.
