During art this term P5DK made Canopic Jars using clay. They had to make a lid and a pot using drawings of real life Canopic Jars. After 2 weeks the children were able to paint the jars using a variety of paints. Here are some photos to show you what they did.
Cormac gave an excellent workshop on how children can bounce back from setbacks and try to stay positive during the School day. The children really enjoyed this and will hopefully be able to remember some of the strategies during their time at School.
P7 were able to work effectively in groups today to improve their problem solving skills. Having good communication and delegation was crucial to this. They really enjoyed the challenge.
Welcome to all of the new P1 boys and girls. We are having lots of fun settling into school life. The children have had a busy few days learning classroom routines and getting to know each other. Here are some pictures of our first days in school.
