We remembered to stop, look and listen even after the green man shows before crossing and we must never run across the road!
P6 children recently had two fun filled days on their residential to Todds Leap Activity Centre. Activities included the Zipline, the Big Swing, Bungee Run, Last Man Standing, Archery, Wall Climbing, Blindfold Driving, Safari Run, Truck Run, Nightline, Team building games, Splatmaster and Tayto Big Yella slide. The boys and girls had a fantastic trip and made memories that will last a life time!
As part of our Digital Storytelling lesson P2 had to go on a hunt around the school to find symbols. We made a list of all the symbols we found. We then took photos of the symbols.
When we came back to class we had a discussion about how we had to hold the iPad really still and let the camera focus before pressing the button. Some of us were able to do this and the photos looked amazing!
We were very fortunate to have Laurence form Hope Community Church to lead our assembly today. He spoke about the importance of having a positive mindset, facing our fears and having confidence in ourselves. We really enjoyed his singing!
We compared different containers to see which held more, less and the most.
We also estimated, then measured how many cups it would take to fill different containers.
No one got too wet!
April was an exciting month in P3F! We celebrated Mathletics achievements, birthdays and monthly certificate winners. We engaged in problem solving activities and explored capacity. Thanks to Irwin’s Bakery, we enjoyed a bread tasting session and discussed texture and taste. In ICT, we found out about online safety and that the information we put online leaves a digital footprint.
