What an amazing day we had today. It started with our sports day session with Coach Steve. After that we had two fun bouncy castles, face painting, ice cream and a picnic lunch. The sun shone the whole time and everyone enjoyed themselves.

As we come to the end of the year in Nursery- what a celebration we had today! Coach Steve took us for lots of fun games and races. We had the ice cream man, bouncy castles, face painters and a picnic lunch on the field! We will really miss you all next year boys and girls.

P4 had a great day at The Ark Farm. The weather didn’t dampen our day. We loved heading out of the town and to the farm to learn about farm animals. The reptile house was very interesting too! The tractor 🚜 ride was a favourite for most!

Our WAU topic this term is The Romans and we have been learning about the Roman army, Roman soldiers and the equipment and weapons they used. We found out that the Roman army had big catapults called Ballistas so today, in our technology lesson we made and tested our own small Ballistas. The children had great fun launching paper balls across the playground!

We travelled to the Ark Open Farm last week. Despite the heavy rain, the children had a fantastic time feeding and examining various animals, as you can see by the pictures.

P5 had a wonderful day at Donagh Cottage Farm in Donacloney on Friday 14th June. Thank you very much to everyone at the farm for making the day so memorable and special for the boys and girls.

What a lovely day we had today at Tannaghmore Gardens. We enjoyed seeing and talking about the different animals. It was fun eating our lunches at the picnic tables before we explored the play park. We had great fun swinging, climbing, balancing and developing our gross motor skills. It was a super day out!
