We had great fun today using the app, Chatterpix as part of our animation work in ICT!
We did a lot of Art and Literacy around the story of Little Red Riding Hood and used our creations when using the app. 😊

Our ICT topic this half term has been animation. We began by learning about the history of animation, and for this we created our very own thaumatrope - one of the first examples of animation. We then moved on to using a computer programme to create an animation, before finishing with a play-doh animation this week!

This week P3WA enjoyed an amazing logical thinking and very practical experience with David from Sentinus. We loved the thinking around Numbers, shapes and problem solving. Take a look at our fun photos.

What an exciting morning we had. Claire from Blackberry farm came to visit us. She told us animal stories, sang songs with us and let us groom, feed and cuddle for extremely friendly animals.

P2 had a visit from Sentinus, who delivered a very exciting workshop.

The children thoroughly enjoyed being scientists at their recent Sentinus workshop, when they investigated acids and alkalis from the kitchen and tested foodstuffs with iodine to discover which ones contained starch. It’s obvious that we have some budding scientists in P4.
