P3 loved all the exciting activities Coach Steve had planned-balancing, jumping and landing accurately, rolling in the correct pencil shapes.

New skills are hard work, but VERY FUN 🤩

Also this week we had REIM team teaching us how to STAY SAFE online. They were teaching us safe games and safe APPS and what to do if we are feeling funny about something that happens when on the internet. We had great fun with the RED FLAG activity and learning about personal information.

We also had more learning fun with Izak9 cubes and learning how to work in a team, listening and understanding each other is important!!!

The children in P6M had the opportunity to take part in a writing project yesterday. Together, they worked with the Fighting Words mentors to write a chapter of a book, following on from a chapter written by a school in Monaghan. Once the book has been completed by a collection of schools, the team will revisited P6 to read them the full story, before the book is published. This workshop was a valuable learning experience for all of the children.
