We were amazed that our book bags have reflective strips on them!
This week we have been reading the story ‘Owl Babies’ by Martin Waddell in Primary 1 as part of our topic on ‘Light/dark’. Today we enjoyed making an owl picture using a variety of materials. The first step was colouring a branch using paint sticks. Then we painted our white owl body using pegs and pom-poms dipped in white paint to give a fluffy texture. We stamped on a peach circle for the eyes and printed orange feet using the edge of our pegs. Lastly, we stuck on eyes, a beak and stars in the night sky.
