We had a very busy and productive technology afternoon, building the Belfast Samson and Goliath cranes, as part of our Titanic topic.
We needed to communicate effectively, while working as a group or pair and do lots of problem-solving!
We have been learning about Roman soldiers as part of our WAU topic for term 3. Roman soldiers were well trained and equipped and had very good weapons, one of which was the Onager, a type of catapult used to hurl projectiles. We made our own versions this week and had great fun seeing how far we could hurl our paper balls. Earlier on this term we used a tuning fork to make sound vibrations splashed water. This was also great fun.
Well done to P4AK for having the most children that walked to school.
There were also a boy and girl prize winner from each class!

We had a great day yesterday on our trip to The Ark. We met the Meer Cats, fed the alpacas and got to handle baby chicks and guinea pigs. We had a lovely time, as you can see from the photos.
