This week we had a great time with Konnor learning some circus skills and fun making Christmas treats to hang up at home!

Well P3WT are VERY busy little boys and girls!
They have been earning a lot of Mathletics points, had lots and lots of fun with experimenting to find which materials would make the LARGEST BUBBLES and making toast and following instructions, as well as finishing this week with a SANTA FUN RUN!

Primary 3 enjoyed learning all about Anti-Bullying this year with the theme, “Reach Out”. Everyone could wear odd socks to show it’s okay to be different. They created hands about qualities a friend should have and created a Friendship Circle.

Today P3WT wore odd socks for anti bullying week. 😊
This is show we are all different and that children should be themselves and celebrate their differences.
P3 enjoyed their big Halloween workout with Coach Steve.
Primary 3 have been studying the topic of Mini-beasts for this term. They have learned soooooo many exciting facts about spiders, ladybirds, caterpillars and many more......
This week they have been building mini-beast habitats and camouflaging their own minibeast!

P3 love our PE sessions with Coach Steve. They are fun, active and engaging. We are learning lots of new skills.😀
Wow........ what a week we have had!
starting with moulding mini beasts with play dough, practising spellings in the sand, finding camouflaged caterpillars outside in our school garden!
On Wednesday 5th October The Baptist Church visited our school and took a very special assembly about “The Incredible Journey”.
The children listened soooooo well, dressed in bible costumes and tasted some good old food from bible times.
Then to make the day even more exciting P3 used Izak9 cubes to help understand single digits and solve problems in teams.......

Primary 3 had lots of interesting talks from outside agencies this week. They loved searching for mini beasts and listening to all the facts from our school link staff from Lough Neagh Discovery Centre.
As well as learning facts about staying safe with Ethan and Connor our school PSNI officers. They were learning about STRANGER DANGER and staying safe with fireworks.
Note to parents- did you know that electric scooters and hoverboards are ILLEGAL in public places! I learned that new fact today myself

This week primary 3 were learning how to follow a set of instructions. They used the traffic lights outside our school to learn how to stay safe when close to a road or trying to cross.
