This week children explored number ordering with teddies, caterpillars and the written order. We also love keeping score in our beanbag tossing game. Children loved our very first science experiment where minibeasts spread pollen from flower to flower. We also learnt some fantastic facts in ICT using a search engine to discover things like, spiders have blue blood and Bee's can't see the colour red! Children also learnt some new sign language and some great new signs about minibeasts too!

Fun with outdoor learning, building a minibeast with natural materials. Mathletics tasks on the iPads, building number knowledge and counting forwards and backwards.
Art was super fun when we explored primary paint colours and mixing paints!

P3WA have all settled into the busy routine well. They have been learning about our new topic of minibeasts. They have been on an alphabet hunt, minibeast exploration and investigating 2D shapes all around our school grounds. Outdoor learning is so much fun at Hart Memorial PS.
Also, P3WA have been using pastels and exploring sensory body shapes for fun learning activities!
