We had a busy morning solving problems, while working as a team, using Izak 9. We had to use a lot of thinking skills and work well with others.

Key Stage 2 Assembly - showing kindness

Mrs McNally led our assembly this morning, focusing on showing kindness, to finish off a week of activities for Anti-bullying week.

She reminded us of the importance of showing kindness to others, and talked about the positive ripple effect of an act of kindness.

STEM with Portadown College

On Wednesday this week, some pupils from Portadown College visited P7s to complete some Science experiments with the pupils. Everyone loved making their own slime!!

We are very fortunate to have Jeanie from the Portadown Temperance Council for a series of workshops, which are happening over the next number of weeks. These support our PDMU curriculum in P7.

We have learned so many new facts and the importance of making our own choices.

This week the children have really enjoyed making their own Rainforest in a shoebox. We used a cariety of materials including lots of natural things from our surroundings.
