Latest News - P2H

3rd Oct 2022

Today the P7s were treated to an amazing show of animals that live in the Amazon Jungle. The children had the chance to hold and pet lizards, a chameleon, a python, a giant millipede and a tortoise. We also got to see a tarantula and a scorpion up close - we didn't get to touch these, although we're not sure how many takers we would have had for that even if we had been allowed to!! Have a look at our photos...

Primary 3 had lots of interesting talks from outside agencies this week.  They loved searching for mini beasts and listening to all the facts from our school link staff from Lough Neagh Discovery Centre.

As well as learning facts about staying safe with Ethan and Connor our school PSNI officers.  They were learning about STRANGER DANGER and staying safe with fireworks.

Note to parents- did you know that electric scooters and hoverboards are ILLEGAL in public places! I learned that new fact today myself

Take a look at some photos to link with our weekly learning.......
