Before Christmas, the children in P6M entered the Young Writers competition. The challenge was to write a mini saga entitled “Crazy Creatures” in no more than 100 words. Some boys and girls in the class received some fantastic news today. Their work has been selected to be published in a book to mark their achievement on the 8th of March 2024. We cannot wait to see the finished copy of this book. Well done to those selected.

The boys and girls created beautiful Christmas cards using their painted thumb prints. A very special gift for family or friends this Christmas.

The children loved creating winter wonderland scenes using paint and charcoal. The results were fantastic! P6M have some very talented young artists.

We presented Miss Shipley with a gift voucher from all the pupils and parents in Key Stage 2 to mark her retirement and to say thank you for everything she has done for us all. We wish her health and happiness in her retirement.

Mrs McLeod and some P6M pupils led our assembly this morning delivering the message of the true and important meaning of Christmas, remembering that the greatest gift is the Lord Jesus.
