We used oil pastels to try 5 techniques! We learnt how to draw, blend, layer, do short strokes and long strokes. A busy day, full of fun indoors on a miserable wet Friday.

We had a visit this morning from Michelle who came from Portadown town library.
Michelle told the children all about the library facilities. She emphasised that there is a lot more going on in the library apart from borrowing books.
Michelle shared a book with the children and encouraged them to visit the library & to join for free to make full use of the activities on offer. e.g. Lego & craft club

We used our fingerprints to make swirls and create different patterns on a page. We did this in pairs and worked on turn taking and communicating with each other, using positional language.
