P3F Mathletics Certificate Winners for Term 1. Well done boys and girls!
Here we are enjoying our IZAK9 numeracy lesson. Children demonstrated great cooperation and problem solving skills. We love having fun with numeracy in P3!
This month we welcomed visitors from Oxford Island, the PSNI and the Amazing Journing Experience from Baptist Youth. We worked together problem solving with IZAK9. Primary 3F had lots of practise reading, following and writing instructions. We are very good at being bossy! We also undertook a science experiment in order to show how pollination occurs- this included lots of nectar (disguised as cheesy wotsits!).
In literacy, we have been learning all about instructions. We followed instructions in order to cross the road safely. Later in the week, we had a chance to write our own instructions.
We used acrylic paints to paint our clay minibeasts. We enjoyed learning about layering and brush technique, in order to achieve different outcomes.
We explored art and design in digital form and created ladybird pictures on the iPads.
Primary 3F also welcomed Sandra and Kathryn from Oxford Island today. We went on a minibeast hunt and learnt lots of interesting facts about mini beasts in our school environment.

Crispy Chris ensured we had lots of fun at Aunt Sandra’s Candy Factory. We enjoyed a fun, candy workshop and found out lots about history of the factory, making candy, the different flavours available and about colour mixing. We all came home with a sweet treat to enjoy at home 🍬🍭🍫

What a special day! Our whole school enjoyed a fun day- complete with an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, balloon modelling and ice-cream. It certainly was a day to remember! 🎉⭐️
We had a great last day together!!! We had a picnic and went on the adventure trail🤩 ❤️
