Sean Scully is a Dublin based painter who took inspiration from the stone walls of Ireland and created many popular paintings imitating such features. P7T used a ruler, a pencil and some A3 paper to do exactly the same. Using a mixture of colours, pupils did a great job making their own creations. Well done P7

We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. All classes had to decorate the classroom door for the event. We chose ‘Where’s Wally?’ and it looks fantastic!

We completed activities throughout the day linked to one of our favourite authors - David Walliams.

A great day!!

To celebrate World Book Day all classes were asked to decorate their classroom door with their favourite books. In P1T/A we have been learning about Fairy Tales so each table group set about working on a fairy tale they enjoyed. Have a look at the children's enjoyment while taking part in this project. All their hard work paid off as we were awarded 1st Prize by members of the Board of Governors who were visiting school today. We are all delighted and thank you.
