We had a very special visitor this morning to Nursery. Mr Hullabaloo came to visit and share some stories with us. He brought Jingles the Jester, Goldilocks, the gingerbread man and even a witch with him! We had so much fun joining in.

We had a visit from the PSNI to talk to us all about keeping safe. They talked with us about 'Stranger Danger' and that they are there to help us. They also told us about the importance of wearing a helmet when on our bikes/ scooters. We had great fun sitting in the police car and watching the flashing lights and listening to the siren.

We had a lovely morning with our visitors from Oxford Island. They taught us all about different types of birds and we played lots of fun games outside- looking for food for the birds and listening to the sounds the birds make.

What a lovely way to end our first term at Nursery. Jo Jingles came to visit- we sang lots of Christmas songs, used the musical instruments, danced and had lots of fun!

Another busy month in Nursery. There was a lot of discussion around the recent fireworks, so we carried this through into our art this month and enjoyed making beautiful pictures. We had two children bringing in their new pets to show us; a puppy and a rabbit, which was a lovely treat. We have been growing in independence; accessing resources independently and tidying them after afterwards.

This month, we have been learning all about Autumn time. We have been talking about the changing weather, colours of Autumn and making some beautiful Autumn art. We are continuing to develop our independance in Nursery, beginning to develop friendships and share and take turns with our friends.

As part of our 'Getting Ready to Learn' programme, we had a lovely morning at the library- reading a story, singing songs and using the musical instruments.

We had a super morning on our Sponsored Walk. We enjoyed exploring the school grounds and even went for a walk in the 'deep dark forest' at the back of our school. The children were very excited to find minibeasts and a hedgehog's home. When we returned to Nursery we had lots of special treats to eat for our snack. Thank you so much for all your support.
