During the last week of October the children produced some amazing work in class. Their task was to create a Rainforest in a Shoebox with a moving part. We were blown away by their creativity and team work. Have a look at the pictures to see for yourself!
We used our knowledge of co-ordinates and symmetry to create alien masks before the half term break😊
Our second session today saw the children programming an Angry Bird to find an Evil Pig!! The children were so successful at this task. They then put their new programming skills to the test when they were tasked with completing the code to draw a square, a triangle and a hexagon. Lots of maths and ICT skills used today, and lots of fun had with new friends!
We were so delighted to win the award for having the highest attendance percentage in Key Stage 2 for the month of September. This means we are the proud guardians of Bertie, who will stay with us in Room 8 until the end of October!
Each pupil got to choose a pencil or a wrist band as a reward for coming to school! Such an easy prize!

We really enjoyed our session today with Sam and Rhys from the IFA. It all got very competitive!
P7MM enjoyed a fantastic assembly hosted by the Baptist Church, where they led us on a journey through the Bible!
Some of us dressed up and we got to taste food from Bible times.
A real treat!
Today, we travelled to Presentation PS to meet Mr Ryan’s P7 class and begin our Hive Hackers course. The children learned all about algorithms and programming and had a great day making new friends.
