The roads around school are very busy at home times and there are lost of things which can distract drivers. It is vitally important that pupils do not add to this.
Please look at the following poster and discuss it with your child.
Remember, stop, look and listen!
They had a fantastic day and we were very proud of their achievements!
P5-P7 pupils participated in competitive and fun events at the 2024 Hart Olympics, in small teams. Winners from each year group will be awarded their prizes in a special Olympic Ceremony next week. We are very proud of all the boys and girls who took part.
On Wednesday 5th June, all children in P4 to P7 classes who took part in Shared Education this year with Presentation PS had a wonderful time at Portadown Peoples Park. They spent the day taking part in a variety of different sports that was run by the staff from Healthy Kidz. Here are some photos to show what they did while at the park.
The third and last day of our school trip was another succesful one. After our breakfast we headed outside to the big, open field at the front. Here we had both archery and frisbee golf set up. After throwing our frisbees and pretending to be Robin Hood, it was time for wall climbing! This all went really well and led us to our last lunch in Tanagh. And as we loaded up the bags, said our goodbyes and got in our seats ... the sun came out.
Day 2 in Tanagh, another day full of fun even though the sun didn't always show up. We went orienteering and had a battle with bow and arrow. We ate some lovely goujons for lunch. After, we took to the water again to go canoeing. Cold water did not bother our P7L! After dinner we went outside to explore the local forests and see what plants and bugs we could find. We finished the night with some karaoke. Another great day with some (very) tired pupils.
We were very fortunate to have Laurence form Hope Community Church to lead our assembly today. He spoke about the importance of having a positive mindset, facing our fears and having confidence in ourselves. We really enjoyed his singing!
We were very fortunate to have the Reverend Orr come to speak to us again today in assembly. He has reached ‘E’ in the alphabet of messages and today he spoke about Earth and Eyes.
He told us the story of Jesus healing a blind man using mud and saliva.
We sang ‘Our God is so big’.
