Our principal, Mr Frizzell led our assembly today. He brought a cake along but got a surprise when he cut into it! We realised that what is inside is very important.
He spoke about the word ‘integrity’ and the importance of having a strong sense of honesty.
We sang a lovely new song, Store up good in your heart.

After Easter, Drama club will continue as normal; however, only pupils who have attended Drama Club up until now can attend as parts have been given for performances.
P7's had a lovely day at the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh. We learnt a lot about the Great Famine. The way different people were living under very different circumstances, what they could eat, what their plans were and what school was like in the 1800's.
Today, P7L brought out their most dramatic faces and poses. Konflux Theatre came to visit our school and prepared a play (in 1 day!) together with our pupils. We had a great time rehearsing and practicing the many different scenes and lines. P6 and 7 came over, at the end of the day, to watch our performance. It was magnificent, we are very proud of you.
The arrangements relate to dressing up and also a whole-school competition (including Nursery).

We were delighted to have Reverend William Orr speaking to us in assembly today.
He has reached the letter C in his talks and spoke about Joseph’s Coat.
He reminded us of the importance of not having favourites and to do our best to involve everyone in our fun and games. We should always be aware of anyone that might be isolated or feeling left out.
We closed with our new worship song, 10,000 Reasons.
