We were delighted to have Reverend William Orr speaking to us in assembly today.
He has reached the letter C in his talks and spoke about Joseph’s Coat.
He reminded us of the importance of not having favourites and to do our best to involve everyone in our fun and games. We should always be aware of anyone that might be isolated or feeling left out.
We closed with our new worship song, 10,000 Reasons.
P7MM and P7L started their week with a Sentinus Activity delivered by Peter. We were tasked to design and build bridges using paper and masking tape. Our bridges were tested for strength using 5-10 litres of water attached to the bridge by a hook. Some very creative designs and great team work.

Both P7 classes started 2024 with some problem-solving using Izak 9.
We had to work as a team, use effective communication and persevere until we found a solution.
A nice way to start a new term. 😊
We presented Miss Shipley with a gift voucher from all the pupils and parents in Key Stage 2 to mark her retirement and to say thank you for everything she has done for us all. We wish her health and happiness in her retirement.

For their WAU theme 'The Human Body', P7L is learning more about the different bones in our body.
Today we found out the scientific names for a few of them.
The boys and girls got to write them down on a post-it note and stick it in the correct place. Luckily, Simon the skeleton was there to help.
