This morning, Commonwealth Swimmer, David Thompson, completed a fitness workout with all children. This was completed with a view to raising money to purchase new Sports equipment for the School.
P5P were treated to a W5 Workshop today, hosted by Matt and Ben. The children were shown how to make a Wind Turbine, which they then managed to do in small groups. Electricity Circuits were also completed in this fun, hands on Workshop. Everyone learned a lot and had fun doing so!
P5P have been looking at ways to stay safe when using the Internet - a very important topic. We luckily had the services of three Digital Leaders from P6C, who delivered an excellent PowerPoint to the whole Class. Thank you!
P5P have started Swimming lessons at The Lakes. It’s early days, but everyone has enjoyed going to the pool on Thursday afternoons.
We dressed up as characters from a Christmas film or wore our most festive jumper. Mrs Stockdale chose a winner from each class. It was so difficult for her! Congratulations to everyone!
Konor thoroughly entertained P5P today with his Circus Skills Workshop. The children were shown how to balance plates on a stick, the Diablo, the flower sticks and, not forgetting, how to juggle! They then had time to have a go at all of these skills, which was great fun! Thanks Konor, for giving us such a lovely pre Christmas treat!
Today, P5P used Newsdesk in the Computer Suite to complete Fact Files on our Space Topic. Newsdesk is excellent for finding out current news stories as well as from the past.
