The Daily Mile Network invited Schools from across N.Ireland to join together for the virtual Santa run event to celebrate The Daily Mile. P5P ran their Friday Killer K, wearing their Christmas jumpers. Getting fit and having fun at the same time!

Newsdesk is a very useful way to source information, whilst also improving reading and comprehension skills. This morning, P5P learned how to post their own comments after they have read an article. Everyone was excited to see their reviews on the screen.

Mrs McNally led our assembly today discussing the difference between equality and equity and how sometimes things can feel like they are ‘not fair’ and why this is.

The Key Stage 2 pupils were treated a visit from the Reverend William Orr, who led the assembly. He told us the story of Moses from the Bible and encouraged us to show love and kindness to others. We always enjoy a visit from Reverend Orr!

Thanks to Amanda from REIM Training, who gave P5P an important presentation on Stranger Danger. The boys and girls have learned a great deal about the dangers posed by strangers, particularly when online.

P5-P7 were treated to a workshop given by two members of the Ulster Orchestra. They covered all of the instruments and played some lovely tunes also on the Violin!
