James from the Amma Centre gave P5P an extremely interesting tutorial on Minecraft Education. The boys and girls were able to follow each step via iPad and were praised for their prior knowledge and ability using Minecraft Education during the presentation.
Ben from Nurture in 5 visited P5P today and delivered a fun session designed to boost mental health and resilience. Everyone enjoyed the physical activities and understood the theme of exercise and relaxation as a form of releasing Stress.
Today, P5P performed their version of Bob Marley’s “ Three Little Birds “. We really hope that you enjoy it!
Johnny and Mark from The Fire Service gave P5P a very useful and informative talk on Fire Safety in the home. All of the children listened really well and fully intend to check all of the safety hints that they were given when they get home.
Reducing the amount of Litter in the School Grounds is just so important. P5P were glad to take part in a Competition organised by the Eco Committee, highlighting the need for everybody to take responsibility to ensure that litter goes in bins and not on the ground. On Thursday 3rd March, P5P celebrated World Book Day. We read books, we completed work on books and we all made a bookmark for our favourite book at home. We also listened to our Class Novel, The BFG. As he might have said, we all had a scrumdiddlyumptious time enjoying the glorious world of Books!
