Our art project for this term was to draw self portraits. We had to use an upside down egg outline for our faces and then add our features in the correct place and in proportion. The results were amazing as you can see from these pics.
Today we walked to the People’s Park to join with our friends from Presentation PS once again for a fun day. We enjoyed many activities including dance, rugby and basketball. We also went for a walk and Emily found a fairy door. We had a great day.
This week we have been learning how to draw our faces, making sure our features are in the right place and in proportion. We love singing along as we work.
Way back in the autumn, the children planted chestnuts and acorns. They had to be very patient as it was not until late spring when we began to see signs of growth. This caused great excitement. Today they brought home their seedlings to be grown on and planted out at a later date.

This morning Mrs Kinghan came to our room to teach us how to use Song Maker and record sound with Keezy. This was a fun learning experience for us all.
