P7T had a lovely morning away playing bowling and mini golf at Airtastic. There was great fun had by all.
Well done to all P7T pupils who either walked or cycled to school each day. A big congratulations to Kai and Poppy who were our raffle winners. Well done 😎
Well done to Charlie McCracken who was P7T’s winner for Good to be Green for the month of May. Well done Charlie :-) He chose a football as his prize.
P7T had a lovely afternoon in the Portadown Sunshine. Pupils were split into three groups and were tested across five events: 100m, cricket ball throw, chest push, speed bounce and 200m. Pupils did fantastically well in testing, warm conditions. Well done to all!

P7 enjoyed learning about love, relationships and body changes during the Love for Life workshop.
P7T have enjoyed learning about the Human Body over the last couple of weeks. There has been many wonderful questions about the many different organs and their functions. Today, we learned about the lungs, and how they work. Secondly, only to our Hearts, the Diaphragm is the most important muscle in the body. It allows us to breathe and controls our intake of air. Pupils were tasked to try to recreate its functionality using some plastic bottles, bin liner, a rubber band and a balloon. As you can see, they did a great job. :-)
P7T did excellently in improving their drawing skills mimicking the many different movements of the human body. Starting with photographs of different sporting positions from diving goalkeepers and jumping ballerinas, pupils using circles drew moving bodies before transferring them onto to card to be stuck onto painted backgrounds. Pupils really enjoyed it and did extra well.
P7T enjoyed completing their drawings of the outline of human bodies for the upcoming Art project. Great job 🙂
