David came in from Sentinus this morning to help us learn more about the weather. The children thoroughly enjoyed making their cloud rain blue raindrops. Before he left, he showed the children how to make lightning with a balloon, their hair and a bulb. It really was a very educational and exciting morning, enhancing our WAU topic of weather.
P4S have started their Christmas Art activities- the finished project will be revealed soon.
P4S had great fun planting conkers and acorns. We hope that they will grow into huge chestnut and oak trees.
Well done to Ben for winning a prize for his fabulous entry to the UTU competition. He had to draw his favourite place and explain why.
Miss Rowland brought her grandad in to talk about what school was like in 1935. He started when the school was first opened. The children enjoyed hearing all about his antics and he loved telling them.
Most after school activities finish today, Friday 29 March 2019. If a club or a booster programme has additional sessions next week or the one after, you will have been informed by the leader in writing.
The term 3 after school activities timetable will be out straight after the Easter holidays, with clubs recommencing on Wednesday 8 May 2019.
